Taylor Simpson grew up dancing in Southern California and began teaching dance at age 16. In the Spring of 2020, she graduated from Belhaven University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science and a Certificate in Ballet and Modern Technique and Performance.

She is a bun-head at heart, with a love for contemporary, lyrical, and modern techniques. In the Fall of 2021, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona and was hired on as the Performance Arts Instructor at Basis Charter School.  She has also taught ballet and contemporary at a variety of dance studios in the valley, along with leading the Fountain Hills Middle School and High School dance program. In the Summer of 2023, she began Eden Dance Collective LLC, which exists to cultivate a delight and passion for dance through discovery of movement. Taylor is excited to continue to be involved in the arts community as she pursues teaching opportunities to facilitate technique, performance, collaboration, and kinesiology integration. She has a passion for working with students as they develop their own artistry and hopes to instill a deep love for this artform!
